There are approximately 20,000 species of fish on the earth and 3,500 species of fish in the seas of Japan.

Of these, approximately 1,000 species of fish live in the waters around Kujukushima.

The complex topography of Kujukushima has also fostered a large number of creatures, and it has been confirmed that there are many species and numbers of creatures other than fish.

Areas with such diversity as Kujukushima are becoming rare in Japan.

Umi Kirara is an aquarium that exhibits the creatures that live in the sea of Kujukushima.

・Tickets are valid only on the designated date.

・Sasebocity citizens and visitors aged 70 and over are eligible for a discount. Please present your ID (driver's license, etc.) showing your current address and age at the time of purchase.

・Guests presenting a disability certificate or Mirailo ID will be charged half of the general admission price (730 yen for adults and 370 yen for children). Please buy tickets at site. One accompanying person will be admitted free of charge for each person presenting the ID.

・3 years old Children and under are free.

・Coupons cannot be used in conjunction with other coupons, special offers, discounts, etc.

・Opening hours may vary depending on the season.

・Food and beverages are not allowed.

・Pets are not allowed. （except guide dogs, service dogs, and hearing dogs)

Description

Kujuukushima Aquarium Umi kirara features a large outdoor type tank with 13,000 creatures of about 120 species on display, the Kujukushima Dolphin Pool, where you can see dolphins playing jumping catch with each other up close, and the Jellyfish Symphony Dome, a planetarium-type jellyfish exhibition area. Please come and enjoy the marine world of Kujukushima.
