Description

Experience making a bamboo lantern using bamboo, a traditional Japanese material, right in the heart of Nara. Since we use pre-processed bamboo, even beginners and children can participate with ease. You'll create a unique lantern using special tools, creating a pattern and enjoying the beautiful shadows it casts when lit. Once completed, you can take it home as is. It's a popular choice for home decor, a memento of your trip to Nara, or a gift. This quiet, indoor space allows you to concentrate and enjoy crafting. The basic plan involves making a green bamboo lantern. You can also choose from the following bamboos (additional fees apply on-site): Shaved Bamboo Lantern +1,000 yen Shaved Colored Bamboo Lantern +1,500 yen The estimated experience time is approximately 40-60 minutes. Additional time may be required for more specific designs. An extension fee applies only in these cases. 30-minute extension: +1,000 yen 60-minute extension: +2,000 yen *There is no additional charge for the standard production pace.
