Rent a bicycle and enjoy a leisurely ride through Shinano-Omachi, the foothills of the Northern Alps, as you experience the changing seasons. This is the Lake Aoki Circuit Course, the largest and most tranquil of the Nishina Lakes. The water is a mystical, clear blue, projecting the Hakuba Sanzan and Mt. Jigatake onto its azure surface, creating a magnificent landscape. The Lake Aoki/Lake Nakatsuna Circuit Course is approximately 7 km long and takes 1 hour. This course was the site of the 2005 All-Japan Corporate Cycle Road Race, which competed for the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry's flag. Enjoy a forest bathing experience while cycling through the Oyamazakura cherry blossoms on Lake Nakatsuna's west shore in spring, or through a tunnel of broadleaf and coniferous trees on Lake Aoki's north shore in summer, while enjoying the changing seasons. Enjoy the view of the Hakuba Sanzan and Mt. Jigatake. Cycle through the orchestra of autumn leaves in autumn. Total length: approximately 9km, required time: 2 hours. Aoki Lake, Nakatsuna Lake, and Kizaki Lake Circumnavigation Course. Lake Aoki, for contemplation, Lake Nakatsuna Lake for fishing, and Lake Kizaki Lake for leisure are collectively known as the "Ninna Three Lakes," and the seasonal reflections of the Northern Alps are reflected on the lake's surface.
