Yokohama Air Cabin One-Way E-Ticket [Sakuragicho–Unga Park]

Overview

The Yokohama Air Cabin is a ropeway that opened in April 2021, connecting JR Sakuragicho Station to Unga Park in the Shinko District of Minato Mirai 21.

It is approximately 630 meters one way, reaches heights of up to 40 meters, and takes about 5 minutes. Travel to the tourist attractions of Minato Mirai while enjoying the view from the sky!

  Children (primary school age and below) are not allowed to board by themselves.

  At least one adult (paid, junior high school age or older) must ride in each cabin.

  Children aged 0–2 ride free of charge.

• Those with a physical disability certificate or wishing to use any discount

Notes: multiple discounts cannot be combined. Boards for written communication are available at manned ticket desks. Tablets are also available for communication during the ride, please ask a member of staff for more information.

Please refrain from riding if you are afraid of heights, if you are under the influence of alcohol, if you have a heart condition, if you have high or low blood pressure, or if you are otherwise unwell.

Pets are not allowed on board (service dogs are allowed).

Please refrain from eating, drinking, smoking, and bringing flammable or hazardous materials into the cabin.

For safety reasons, we request that at least one adult (Charged) accompany passengers who are using wheelchairs or walking aids, in case of a tremor or sudden stop.

Please do not engage in any dangerous activities in the cabin (shaking, standing up, leaning against the door or handrail, dropping objects from the window, etc.).

"Adult" tickets are applied to junior high school students and above.

"Child" tickets are applied to ages 3 through elementary school students.

Please go directly to the boarding gate on the 2nd floor of Sakuragicho or Unga Park Station and scan the 2D barcode on your ticket at the gate to board.

Description

Take the Yokohama Air Cabin from Sakuragicho Station, and cross to Unga Park Station in the Shinko District. You can easily access the major attractions of Minatomirai, such as Yokohama Cosmo World, World Porters, Hammerhead, and the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, and enjoy the view from the sky while you ride!

The Yokohama Air Cabin's station building is a person-friendly, barrier-free structure, and at night the inside of the building is lit up and decorated with visual effects, welcoming visitors with a totally different look from its daytime appearance.

Note: the ticket can be used to ride from either Sakuragicho or Unga Park.
