Activitty cancellation: ・If the weather forecast predicts rainfall of 1mm/h (not snow), the tour will be held. ・If visibility on the lake is 300m or more, the tour will be held. ・If the tour is canceled due to weather, the decision will be made 30 minutes before the meeting time. If the tour is canceled, you will be contacted by mobile number. ・If thunder is heard during the tour, or if the rain (not snow) gets stronger, the tour will be canceled. If the tour is canceled midway, refunds will be made based on the time not participated. Participants will be responsible for transportation costs to the meeting place. ・Due to sudden changes in weather or other reasons, the content and course may be changed or canceled on the day of the experience. Cancellations may also be made at the last minute. If fishing gear is damaged, it can be replaced free of charge once.

We accept requests for winter ice fishing for smelt at Lake Nakatsuna, but please be aware that ice fishing may not always be possible. The opening of winter ice fishing season at Lake Nakatsuna depends on the weather and the smelt population. It was not opened in 2025, 2024, and 2023. It was opened in 2022, but not in 2021. This area is a cold region with heavy snowfall. Heavy snowfall prevents the formation of solid ice because the snow acts as insulation. Even if snow and ice form, they cannot support a person's weight. Ice fishing hours at Lake Nakatsuna are from 7:00 to 16:00 (2026 is TBD). We offer two types of winter ice fishing sets: one with a tempura set rental and another with just the ice fishing set. The Winter Lake Nakatsuna Smelt Ice Fishing Set + Tempura Set Rental is a recommended plan for those who want to easily enjoy smelt fishing and tempura, as it includes a tempura set rental! Please note that guidance (not a guide) in foreign languages ​​such as Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, Thai, Simplified Chinese, and Korean will be provided by an AI translation machine. The Green Season Lake Aoki/Lake Nakatsuna Smelt Boat Fishing, Tempura, and Day Camp is a recommended plan for those who want to easily enjoy smelt fishing and tempura, as it includes a tempura set rental!
