Notices: ・The workshop takes approximately 55 minutes (45 minutes for the experience + 10 minutes for filling out address form, choosing colors, etc.). ・Each person can create two items from options such as rice bowls, teacups, mugs, plates, and beer tumblers (additional items can be fired for an additional 2200 yen per item). ・You can choose from five colors: white, lemon, amber, turquoise, and bronze. ・Turquoise and bronze glazes tend to absorb the smell of coffee and tea, so we recommend using them for items other than mugs. ・Your completed pieces will usually be delivered to you in about 1.5 to 2 months.

Description

Experience pottery on an electric potter's wheel, where you concentrate on shaping the rotating clay. It's not something you can do easily, as even a slight distortion can ruin the shape. We will provide maximum support, so even beginners can feel free to try pottery. The sense of accomplishment when you finish is wonderful. [Experience flow] ① When it's your reserved time, enter the shop and leave your belongings. ② Once you are seated, fill out the address where you would like your finished product delivered. ③ Before the experience, tell the staff the shape and size of the vessel you would like to make. ④ The experience begins. Slowly and carefully, stretch the clay vertically. ⑤ Once the clay is stretched thinly enough, freely create your desired shape. (The experience takes about 45 minutes. 2 to 3 pieces is a guideline.) ⑥ Please feel free to take photos with your smartphone during the experience. ⑦ After the experience, choose 2 pieces to be fired (firing of the 3rd piece and beyond will cost an additional 2200 yen per piece). ⑧ Your pieces will be carefully fired by the craftsmen at Zuiko Kiln and delivered to you in 1.5 to 2 months.
