Description

The Ubara District of Katsuura City in Chiba Prefecture is a scenic spot with the natural beauty of a ria coast, located at a junction of warm and cold ocean currents and rich in marine life. The Undersea Observation Tower (height: 24.4 meters, depth: 8 meters) stands as the central facility of the 14.5-hectare Katsuura Marine Area Park. From its Underwater Observatory, visitors can see the seafloor itself, and a wide variety of fish in each season.

After descending a long spiral staircase, you will find yourself in an underwater aquarium. What kind of fish will you meet? Sometimes you may even see a big shark. Please come and visit this "seat reservation for dreams and inspiration"!
