Description
We hold year-round parent-child events where you can observe forest insects (larvae from autumn to spring) followed by exploring river creatures. On the day of the event, please meet at the designated meeting place. You can rent Panasonic electric bicycles (with front and rear child seats; 20-inch and 24-inch MTBs are available for older elementary school students) free of charge. Put on work gloves and turn over rocks and we'll try to catch fish and crayfish. You can also catch creatures with your bare hands in springs and cold water spots where the creatures don't move. Our main targets for capture are turtles, frogs, catfish, mitten crabs, freshwater shrimp, Japanese freshwater shrimp, American crayfish, gobies, gobies, loaches, minnows, freshwater fish, river snails, Taiwanese clams, dragonfly larvae, and river insects. Many creatures live under rocks and hide underneath, so please turn over lots of rocks. Winter observation sessions are the easiest for observation. We look forward to your participation and applications. If you cancel on the day, we will reschedule free of charge. Also, if you wish to take your catch home, please bring a plastic case and an aerator (battery operated, fish only need oxygen). There are many coin parking lots at the meeting point. We will meet inside the market 10 minutes before departure. If we are delayed due to traffic congestion, we would appreciate it if you would consider joining the afternoon session or changing the date. Thank you for your understanding. What to bring: Marine shoes, change of clothes, swimsuit, leggings, rash guard, drinks, rucksack, plastic case for taking catch home, aerator What we will provide: Electric bicycle (with front and rear child seats), rubber boots (November to mid-March), net, storage bucket Rilo Club members will receive a 1000 yen cashback per family upon presentation of their membership card. PS: Basically, the minimum number of participants required to hold the event is 5 people.
