The new style night worship service by creative company NAKED, INC. will be held again this year. Relax in the mystical space of Heian Shrine that can only be seen at night, such as the illumination of Otenmon and Daigokuden, which are important cultural properties, the Higashi Shinen garden, a representative Japanese garden from the Meiji era, and the projection mapping of Shobikan, a place of scenic beauty.   If visiting on Friday–Sunday or a holiday with a “Monday–Thursday” ticket, you can pay the price difference onsite to enter (refunds are not granted for those purchasing the wrong ticket type for their visit date)

Description

Experience a new style of nighttime temple visit, brought to life by the creative company NAKED, INC. This immersive event at Heian Shrine showcases NAKED’s artistic flair with projection mapping and lantern illuminations. You’ll get to explore the cultural treasures of Otenmon Gate and Daigokuden Hall, both designated Important Cultural Properties, along with the stunning Higashi Shin’en (East Garden), a Japanese garden of the Meiji era. Enjoy the unique atmosphere of the shrine after dark, transformed by these breathtaking light displays!
