Description

Located about 30-40 minutes by car from central Sapporo, the popular Barato River is the perfect place to experience ice fishing for smelt! Pick-up from Sapporo Station is included, and all equipment is provided, so you can come empty-handed! Feel free to join us. This is an outdoor activity, so please dress warmly. (Rubber boots are available for free rental. Please request them on the day.) If you have trouble baiting the fish, touching the fish, or don't know how to catch them, our guides will be happy to help you! We'll do our best to help you so you can focus on fishing! Whether you catch a fish or not, you can enjoy freshly fried tempura on the spot!
