Book a kimono rental and dressing service in Kyoto at Kimono no Obebe. We have beautiful men's and ladies' style kimono in a wide range of sizes, designs and colors, up to 4L size!

Keep your the kimono until 21:00 (9:00 PM) or choose next-day return to look amazing all night long. Let us add a little more Japanese flavor to your day in the ancient city of Kyoto!

Important Information

If you rent in the summer time, we will use a lighter "yukata" robe instead of the heavier kimono

The dressing time is about 45–60 minutes

Depending on the situation, the order of dressing and hair setting might change

Luggage can be stored for free at our shop during rental hours, but please keep valuables with you

Kimono must be returned by 21:00 unless you book the "Next-Day Return" add-on option

Next-day return is until noon the day after your rental

If kimono are lost, or not returned within 1 week, you will be charged the price for the whole kimono

For significant damage (including stains, burns, rips), and if the item is damaged beyond repair, we will ask you to pay 10,000 JPY compensation
