Enjoy a head-to-toe oiran transformation and professional photoshoot in Chiba with no hidden fees!

This is a women-only studio, ensuring a comfortable and secure experience (except for hair stylists and photographers). You can wear a real kimono made of pure silk, and a dedicated photographer will take your photos with an authentic backdrop. Pose guidance is included, so you can feel at ease. The studio is completely reserved for one group per time slot, allowing you to relax without worrying about other guests, and you can select up to 12 retouched photos. We provide a professional full-face makeover from scratch!

Just a one-minute walk from the JR station makes it easily accessible. Approximately 15 minutes by car from Makuhari Messe, about 40 minutes by train from Tokyo Disney Resort, and about five minutes by car from Kemigawa Shrine.

Important Information

• Please be sure to arrive at the reserved date and time
• Target age: 15 years and older
• Photos will be delivered as digital data
• Since we take time to prepare for a photogenic and authentic transformation, please allow plenty of time for your visit
• If you have allergies to cosmetics or hairspray, please consult us in advance and bring your own makeup products if necessary
• This is a women-only studio; men are not allowed to enter except for the photographer
• If someone is accompanying you, please have them wait at a nearby café, as the surrounding area is a residential neighborhood
• As a souvenir, we will present you with "Asari Tsukudani," a traditional clam dish from Chiba (please note the ingredients contain wheat and soy, may include shrimp and crab)
• For the hairstyling, a ponytail is required: if your hair is not long enough, we will attach floral accessories instead of setting a traditional oiran bun (please contact us in advance if needed)
• We provide kimono sizes up to approximately a Japanese 3L size
• If the participant is a minor, one female guardian may accompany them; for adult participants, companions are not allowed
• Photography is not permitted during makeup, hairstyling, or kimono dressing
• There is no smoking area available; please refrain from smoking in the surrounding area as it may disturb local residents
• The studio is located in a residential area; please avoid sitting, eating, drinking, or making loud noises outside the studio
• Inside the studio, only water is allowed; other food and drinks are prohibited
• Many items in the studio are handcrafted and one-of-a-kind; please be careful not to damage them

What to Bring

• A mobile device with internet connection to redeem your e-ticket/voucher
• Please bring your usual makeup products with you just in case you have allergies
• If you wear colored contact lenses that make your pupils larger, your photos will look even better

You can choose from 10:00 or 15:00. When the time comes, please press the intercom. Our staff will greet you upon arrival. The entire process, from preparation to completion, takes approximately four to five hours.

Process:

1: Makeup (approximately one hour, 30 minutes): Your makeup will be removed first, and we will apply a full makeover from a zero base.

2: Hair styling (approximately 30 minutes): We will style your hair in an oiran hairstyle.

3: Kimono selection and dressing (approximately 30 minutes): You can select your preferred kimono and have it dressed properly.

4: Photoshoot (approximately one hour): The session includes three to four different poses.

5: Selfie time (10 minutes)

Experience a full set plan with a souvenir photoshoot of a courtesan, including 12 photos!

This is an activity where you can transform into an "oiran" (courtesan), a part of traditional Japanese culture. After makeup, hairstyling, and kimono dressing, a dedicated photographer will take professional photos of you in an authentic oiran setting. Capture your oiran experience with beautiful photos as a lasting memory.

Service Details

Makeup, hairstyling, nail rental, kimono rental, kimono dressing, and photography are all included. Twelve edited photo data will be provided at a later date.

Timing

Paid Options

If you would like more than 12 photos, each additional photo costs 3,300 JPY.

How it Works

After booking on Rakuten Travel Experiences, an e-ticket will be sent to your registered email address.

When you arrive at the facility, open the usage screen from the link provided in the e-ticket email sent to you at the time of purchase, press the "Use" button, and show the screen to a staff member.
