Description

Noboribetsu Bear Park is located on the top of Shikotsu-Toya National Park. It's quite rare among all the zoos in Japan. Visitors can take cable cars to get to Noboribetsu Bear Park. It is convenient for travelers and they can enjoy the glorious scenery at the same time.

The first and the second bear ranches in the park are featured in Hokkaido Brown Bear. They are the only "Brown Bear Museum" in the world. There is also the Lake Kutara Observatory, from which you can see the clearest lake in Japan. In addition, Yukari no Sato reproduces the life of Ainu people that had been here since the early Meiji period.
