Description
Chado Experience
Chado is one of the symbols of Japanese culture, where the host traditionally serves tea to guests. In this experience, participants will learn how to prepare tea, how to drink it, proper sitting posture, and the etiquette, gaining an understanding of the various methods of tea preparation and the spirit of hospitality.
Participants will receive an introduction to tea preparation from the instructor and will enjoy the tea and sweets prepared by the instructor. Afterwards, participants will personally use a tea whisk to prepare tea.

Shodo is the art of writing Chinese characters and kana using ancient writing tools - brush and ink - to convey one's emotions through the words and styles. In December 2021, it was listed as an Intangible Cultural Heritage, offering participants the opportunity to experience Shodo.
