Description

This sunset cruise takes you around Kushiro Port, where you can witness one of the world's three most beautiful sunsets, "Kushiro Sunset," while listening to a guide on a sightseeing boat. Onboard, a dedicated guide will provide detailed explanations of Kushiro, the port, the sea, the sunset, and the Kushiro Marshland. Along the way, you may encounter a giant cargo ship, enjoy a quiet sunset time watching the sun go down, count down to sunset, and finally, enjoy live music on board, including saxophone performances by the crew. Returning to the Kushiro River 30 minutes after sunset, you will see the lights of the Nusamai Bridge shining brightly, blending the boat into the night view of the Kushiro River. If the weather is good, you may witness the magic hour, when the sky takes on magical colors, the breathtaking blue moment, and even the green flash, when part of the sun's outline emits a green light at the moment it sets. Sometimes you may encounter wild animals such as dolphins, seals, and the protected white-tailed eagle.
