Historic Brewery: Our brewery is old, and the tour includes steep stairs. Please wear comfortable and warm clothing.

Our Commitment to Crafting Exceptional Sake
Nestled in the local community, Mizuo is a small, family-owned sake brewery dedicated to crafting exceptional sake that reflects the unique terroir of our region. All our rice is sourced within a 5 km radius, ensuring the highest quality ingredients. We use pure spring water from the foothills of Nozawa’s Mizuo Mountain, enhancing the soft and sweet flavors of our sake. Our master brewers and craftsmen, who live and breathe this land, are committed to producing sake that is truly beloved by the locals. With 80% of Mizuo Sake enjoyed within Nagano Prefecture, we invite you to visit our brewery and savor the distinctive taste of our sake, crafted with passion and tradition.

14:00 — You will be welcomed at a beautiful 150-year-old brewery. Learn about the history and sake-making process from your knowledgeable English-speaking guide.
15:00 — Exclusive tasting, including Tokubetsu Junmai as Mizuo’s signature sake, and four sakes paired with authentic local ingredients, such as homemade pickles and mackerel.
