Description

This is our most popular course, offering stunning views of Mount Asama! It's a moderately challenging course with some ups and downs. The scenery changes as you pass through forests and rocky areas, making for a pleasant climb to the summit. While trekking, you can actually see volcanic rocks and lava! It's also a valuable opportunity to learn about the history of the Asama volcanic group. You can observe alpine plants, and if you're lucky, you might even spot a Japanese serow! A nature guide is guaranteed for each tour. They will provide easy-to-understand explanations of flowers, birds, tree facts, the names of the mountains you'll see, and expert information about the volcano's history. ■Program Information■・Time: 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM・Meeting Place: Takamine Kogen Visitor Center・Duration: Approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes (intermediate course, including lunch break)・Attire:・Long-sleeved shirt and long pants・Hat・Hiking boots (or comfortable athletic shoes)・Drinking waterPlease bring sunglasses, sunscreen, towel, insect repellent, and lunch at your own discretionAlpine plants can be enjoyed until around the beginning of September
