This is a private lesson, limited to one group at a time, with guidance from a veteran instructor. Enjoy the experience with your family and friends!

You can choose between the Ichijoji class and the Arashiyama class for the venue.

Important Information

・Minimum of 2 participants per booking.

・Maximum of 8 participants per group (please inquire if your group is larger than 8).

・The experience involves a shared activity, with several participants working together on one pot.

・Flour may scatter during the activity, so we recommend bringing an apron, headscarf, and towel. (Participation is possible even without these items).

・Cancellations after the booking is confirmed will incur a cancellation fee of 30% of the experience price. Cancellations made two days before will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the experience price. Cancellations made the day before or on the day of the experience will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the experience price.

Description

You'll be guided by a veteran instructor with over 20 years of experience. He's very enthusiastic but won't unnecessarily assist you during the experience. He'll offer advice only when needed, allowing you to enjoy making soba at your own pace.

We offer private lessons limited to one group at a time. You can concentrate on soba making without worrying about other people.

During the lesson, we use 80% buckwheat flour and 20% wheat flour. You'll use professional tools in our shop's soba-making area, making you feel like a real soba artisan! After the experience, you can immediately enjoy the freshly made soba noodles you made.

[Duration] Approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes

[Steps]

① Mix buckwheat flour and water and knead the dough.

② Roll out the soba noodles.

③ Cut the soba noodles.

④ Taste the soba noodles you made!
