Important Information

【Cold Weather Protection】

It can feel very cold on the RIB, which travels at high speed on the sea, especially until mid-May. Although you will rarely get splashed, we offer free rentals of top-brand marine sports wear, as well as goggles, gloves, and knit caps for those who wish to use them, as protection against the cold.

【Boarding Requirements】

・Must be at least 140cm tall (Children of elementary school age or younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian).

・Guests aged 65 or older, and those with pre-existing medical conditions, will be required to submit a medical questionnaire before boarding. The captain reserves the right to refuse boarding if they determine there is a risk.

・Pregnant women, those who may be pregnant, those who are feeling unwell, and those who are intoxicated are not permitted to board.

【Important Notes Regarding Boarding】

・Safety is our top priority. We reserve the right to cancel the operation if there is a risk of making a safe voyage difficult.

・The captain and operations manager may decide to cancel the operation due to weather, sea conditions, safety concerns, or other circumstances.

・If a cancellation is decided in advance, the operating company will contact customers who have reservations.

・Wearing a life jacket is mandatory for all passengers.

・We will explain the correct way to wear a life jacket during a safety briefing before boarding. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring safe water activities.

・Please wear comfortable shoes such as sneakers (Please be careful of your footing when boarding and disembarking).

・High heels are not permitted due to safety concerns.

・Depending on the weather and sea conditions, you may get splashed.

・Please be careful not to drop your personal belongings such as smartphones and wallets.

・We can store your luggage, but we cannot be responsible for valuables. Please store valuables in your car or use a coin locker.

・We will navigate with safety as our top priority, but the boat may rock significantly. Please do not stand up while the boat is in motion.

・Please follow the captain's instructions while on board.

【Parking】

・All parking is free of charge.

・Staff will guide you to the nearest available parking space in order, so please first come to parking area #0 (in front of Roadside Station Fukura Nanairo-kan) as shown on the map.

・Parking areas are crowded on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. On busy days, the parking area may be a 5-minute walk from Roadside Station Fukura. Please be sure to arrive with plenty of time to spare.

※This course does not go to see the whirlpools.

【What is a RIB?】

We use RIBs (Rigid Inflatable Boats), small vessels that are very popular in marine activities overseas. These boats consist of a fiberglass (FRP) hull with high-tech inflatable tubes attached. The large inflatable tubes on both sides provide excellent seakeeping capabilities, ensuring stable navigation in all kinds of sea conditions and superior safety.
