To be honest, it's hard to find places that accept solo activity tours. Gateway Tours only accepts one person per tour. (This tour is held simultaneously with other tours, so it is not a private tour.) Operating a Canadian canoe alone is many times more difficult than operating it with two people. For this reason, you will generally be accompanied by a guide in the canoe. Benefits include a leisurely river trip, the opportunity to take photos and videos with your own camera, ask the guide various questions, and hear more about the field. Depending on the day's conditions (mainly wind direction), you may also be able to try a solo canoe in a separate boat from the guide. During the tour, the guide will share stories about the history of the Bibi River and the Ainu, as well as unique local tales, while you can canoe and learn at the same time. The field is near New Chitose Airport and offers free transportation, making it a popular choice for the beginning or end of a trip, or for free time during a business trip to Hokkaido. During the tour, we offer free photos taken with a DSLR camera to anyone who requests them. [Recommended] ① Participation by single person is possible!! ② Travel photos are surprisingly few!! Gateway Tours will give you digital photos of your tour taken with a single-lens reflex camera!! Canoeing photos are lifelong memories. This service is only available at Gateway Tours! It's worth participating just for the photos. ③ Guides are certified outdoor master guides by the Hokkaido Governor, and also hold other guide, rescue, and first aid qualifications, so you can rest assured.
