The time selected during reservation is your desired entry time for Tsutenkaku Observatory. It does not indicate the departure time of the Hankai Tramway.

Hankai Tramway

This pass allows unlimited travel on all Hankai Tramway lines for one day. It is a paper ticket with a scratch-off mechanism. Before boarding, use a coin or similar object to scratch off the “year,” “month,” and “day” you plan to use the pass.

When boarding the train, enter through the rear door. Upon exiting, show the scratched-off “year,” “month,” and “day” to the driver.

Tsutenkaku General Observation Deck

Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Osaka from the indoor observation deck, located 87.5 meters above the ground.

  Age Categories:

  Adult: 15 years old and above

  Middle-aged: 12 to under 15 years old

  Child: 6 to under 12 years old

  Infant: 1 to under 6 years old

  Infants and children generally ride for free. However, a fare will be charged in the following cases:

・When an infant rides alone

・When a passenger aged 6 or older is accompanied by more than two infants, a fare will be charged for the third and subsequent infants (treated as “children”)

Ticket Validity

After exchanging the ticket, the ride pass is valid for one day of your choice before December 31, 2028, and is only valid on the day of use (unlimited rides within that day).

Please collect your pass at the ticket center on the 1st floor of Tsutenkaku.

How to use the riding pass:

Scratch off the year, month, and date of your trip once, and show the pass to a staff member.

Please note: If you scratch off more than one section for the year, month, or date, the pass will become invalid.

・Entry may be delayed depending on crowd levels.

・The special outdoor observation deck may be closed without notice in case of inclement weather such as heavy rain, strong winds, or dense fog.

・For safety reasons, the use of umbrellas and parasols is not permitted on the special outdoor observation deck.

・Please note that refunds in cash or by credit card are not available. Thank you for your understanding.

・As access to the special outdoor deck involves stairs, visitors who have difficulty using stairs are kindly asked to refrain from entering.

・For safety reasons, bringing large bags or certain items may be restricted.

・Food, drinks, flammable items, etc., are not permitted inside.

・Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the tower. There is no designated smoking area.

・Please refrain from using tripods, monopods, or similar equipment when taking photographs.

・Entry may be denied if management determines it is unsafe.
