・This is an admission ticket to Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium.

・You may be asked to present identification (such as a driver’s license or student ID) at the aquarium entrance information counter.

・Admission is free for holders of a Physical Disability Certificate, Rehabilitation Certificate, or Mental Disability Health and Welfare Certificate, as well as one accompanying person. (Please present the certificate at the aquarium ticket counter.)

Description

The seas surrounding Okinawa are a mysterious world home to a wide variety of marine life, boasting one of the richest diversities of species in the world.

At Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, the magnificent world of Okinawa’s fascinating marine life is faithfully recreated. In the “Coral Sea” tank, bathed in sunlight, visitors can view a large-scale coral cultivation and exhibition. The powerful giant tank “Kuroshio Sea” allows close observation of the world’s largest fish, the whale shark, as well as the southern manta ray, which was successfully bred for the first time in the world. The experience continues in the “Deep Sea” tank, which recreates the mysterious deep waters surrounding Okinawa, allowing visitors to experience the ocean of Okinawa in its entirety.

With special exhibitions held several times a year, the aquarium aims to be a place where visitors can discover something new with every visit and never lose their fascination with the sea.
